Corporate rebrands are notoriously fraught. Few companies dare to reverse their public course but Warner Bros. Discovery did exactly that. After consigning its streaming service HBO Max to the dustbin and keeping Max—it will relaunch itself as HBO Max.

Warner Bros. Discovery's (WBD) streaming service Max will be called HBO Max starting this summer, bringing back a name that WBD curiously ditched a couple of years ago.
