NC State announced that D.J. Eliot is its new defensive coordinator; Eliot replaces Tony Gibson, who is now the head coach at Marshall. Eliot is a long-time assistant coach, most recently working as the linebackers coach for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2023.

Wolfpack coach Dave Doeren announced the firing of offensive coordinator Robert Anae on Monday after two seasons as the team's play-caller. Doeren promoted quarterbacks coach Kurt Roper to offensive coordinator in the move, also promoting offensive graduate assistant Gavin Locklear to tight ends coach.

NC State fired offensive coordinator Robert Anae and replaced him with quarterbacks coach Kurt Roper, who previously served as OC at Duke, Florida and South Carolina.

Inconsistency was the biggest issue, according to Connor VanDerMark of The Technician, who wrote in October, “it’s time to call the Robert Anae experiment at NC State a massiv
