Opera tenor Christopher Macchio will sing the national anthem at the President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration before a much smaller crowd than he was expecting, a letdown with a silver lining. The ceremony Monday has been moved indoors because temperatures are set to plummet and make it the coldest Inauguration Day in 40 years.

The 2025 NFC Divisional Playoff between the Los Angeles Rams and the Philadelphia Eagles will be played at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, today, Sunday January 19, 2025. Kick-off is at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT. Viewers in the US can watch the postseason game on NBC and Peacock.

Macchio has performed for Trump before, including a campaign rally at Madison Square Garden in October and a New Year's Eve party at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort.

Inauguration ceremonies are traditionally filled with patriotic music performances. In 2021, Lady Gaga performed the national anthem at President Joe Biden’s inauguration while Beyoncé sang at President Barack Obama’s in 2013.
