Boston police have issued a warrant charging a Belmont man in connection with a road rage incident where a man chased a person in their car until they crashed and then was assaulted with a hatchet.

A Belmont man was identified Tuesday as suspect who allegedly assaulted a driver with a hatchet and vandalized their car in a an apparent fit of road rage over the weekend, Boston police said.
