U.S. President Donald Trump's massive tax and spending bill could help bring stability but it is not conducive to deficit reduction.

Polish authorities have indicted a man charged with planning to help Russian foreign intelligence services prepare a possible attempt to assassinate Ukraine's president, prosecutors said on Tuesday.

An initial sum of $25bn (£18.7bn) has been earmarked in a new budget bill - although the government has estimated it will end up costing much more than that over decades.
