Seven jockeys have been hit with suspensions after a spate of false starts disrupted the second day of the Cheltenham Festival. Among the seven was Keith Donoghue, who was given a one-day ban for misconduct at the start of the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase – a race he ended up winning by seven lengths on Stumptown.

The Cheltenham Festival rolls on into its third day on Thursday after two spellbinding days of action on Tuesday and Wednesday.

He hasn't been seen since winning a trial for this race at Leopardstown in December when beating Whatsavailable by three quarters of a length. Gavin Cromwell's horse Will The Wise is another interesting runner, arriving here on the back of two successive wins.
