Alabama lawmakers approved a ban on Glock switches and other conversion devices that convert semi-automatic weapons into machine guns.

The Alabama Senate passed a bill intended to ban Glock switches. The bill states a person who has possession of the device would be prosecuted with a Class C felony charge. Parents celebrating the bill's passage see the ban protecting their children.
